Surging Opportunities for Global Satellite 4G Connectivity & Backhaul

Wed. March 14| 1:45 PM - 3:00 PM | 202

While the mobile industry is abuzz with talk of 5G development, 4G deployment is still largely incomplete and there are huge backhaul opportunities still to be tapped by satellite-centric operators in markets with remote end-users around the world. A bit more than 75 countries have deployed 4G networks and, in 28 of them, deployment has reached fewer than 60% of the population, according to OpenSignal. This panel session will discuss 4G opportunities in underserved markets, the technology infrastructure needed to reach subscribers, and the service provisioning that turns users into revenue.
